Richmond Power Pvt. Ltd.
The key idea behind Richmond Power is to encourage captive power production both within and outside Radhika Group. The company has experts in the area of energy and is working in close cooperation with our European friends to not just achieve efficiencies in our plants but also to create a conducive power generation atmosphere in the country. To begin with Richmond power has imported an entire plant at the Mor Alloy unit from Germany. The state-or-the-art plant comprises of a MAN Turbine and will soon become operational. Richmond power has a 20MW operational license from NEDCAP (Non-Conventional Energy Department of Andhra Pradesh) for industrial waste; therefore the capacity is bound to be met solely by the waste generated by Radhika Vegetable Oils Pvt. Ltd. The success of this plant is just the beginning for Richmond, as it propels steadily to become a benchmark private power producer in the country.
Richmond Power will also be involved in REC (Renewable Energy Certificates) through its Industrial Waste usage from Radhika Vegetable Oils and has already received all accreditation and certifications required in order to trade in the same.
